Which languages does the app support?
English and German. The app follows your device locale automatically. You can switch by changing your iOS system language.
Is my data sent to a server?
Your inputs (meal text, optional photos) are sent anonymously to the Anthropic Claude AI to generate the coaching response. Nothing else. Details in the privacy policy.
Can I export my data?
There is currently no export function in the app. Available on request via email.
How do I delete all my data?
In Settings at the very bottom: "Reset App". Alternatively: uninstall.
Is the app medically validated?
No. NourishMe is a personal wellness tool grounded in scientific recommendations (DGE, BfR, EFSA, LactMed, FDA/EPA). It does not replace medical advice. For medical questions, consult your physician or midwife.
Why does the coach sometimes give slightly different values for the same ingredient?
Nutritional values are estimated by an AI, not pulled from a database. Context and phrasing can shift the estimate slightly. A food-database integration is planned.
